I asked my friends a few questions and filmed their answers. The questions were:

Their favourite movies varied from comedy releases and horror films.

Everyone in the interview said that the first two minutes of a film is important because it must engage the audience.
Most people said that the characters and scenery/setting was what they looked for in the film.

This is useful to me because my group and I are going for the unexpected/thriller/suspense genre for our two minute film and this data showed that most people enjoy watching thriller films.
