Practice 2 Vlog

Charlotte and I filmed a few shots for another practice video. We filmed in Enfield Town in a place called the "Green" where the river runs through town. We filmed many shots such as panning, tilt, establishing shot etc. This is a vlog explaining what we did basically.

Vlog about film idea

Ms Foster filmed my group's vlog as we spoke about our ideas for our two minute film opening. Originally, we were going to go for physcological thriller and we had planned out everything for that particular idea but then a few days before this vlog was filmed, we came up with a different idea.

Film Practice Review Vlog

After filming and editing our film practice, we asked our friend from another group to review our video. She really enjoyed it.

Film Practice

We filmed a film practice last lesson and used today's lesson to edit it. We included shots like establishing, panning, tilt and midshot. 

Vlog

I decided to make a vlog on how I'm finding media studies so far and what we did in our last couple of lessons regarding the prelims and the outakes.

Prelim Outakes

My group and I decided to use clips from our prelim that were funny and not used for the actual prelim to create an outakes video. We didn't have many outakes (I'd like to believe this is because we were so professional) but we made use of the three or four that we had. We also added music and audio effects to make it funnier.

Final Prelim

Here's our prelim video. We based it on a video my group and I found on YouTube called "which one of you doesn't know how to flush the toilet". We chose this video because we thought it was funny and it included all the elements we needed to create our prelim; someone walking through the door, two people talking and someone sitting down. We had to take out a few swear words and changed the angle shots and personally I think this is better than the original.

Final Prelim Vlog

My group and I filmed a vlog talking about our final prelim and the outakes video we created afterwards. We used iMovie for the first time and found it really difficult and frustrating at first but after a while, we got the hang of it and enjoyed discovering all the different effects.

Group Vlog Prelim - Change of plans

So, my group and I decided to change our prelim from High School Musical to a video that was quite popular over the internet. We did this because we thought it would be funnier to do the video instead of the High School Musical reenactment.
