Vlog about NEW IDEA
Charlotte and I were in the middle of editing our footage that we shot on Monday when we came up with a new idea as to how we can show the man in house and make him look scary. We filmed a vlog so we could remember the details.

Film practice vlog 2
My group and I went to Charlotte's house again to film a practice. We brought my friend Kieren along who is playing the part of the killer in my house. We wanted to use him for 2 seconds footage but we ended up spending 3 hours filming because we had a few problems like where to put the camera. He does media studies at his school too so he was giving us a few tips and ideas. We decided to film a vlog afterwards to explain what we were doing.

Interviews
I asked my friends a few questions and filmed their answers. The questions were:
What's your favourite film and why?
What's your least favourite film and why?
Are the first two minutes of a film important to you and why?
What three things do you look for in a film?
What's your favourite movie genre and why?
What's your least favourite movie genre and why?
Their favourite movies varied from comedy releases and horror films.
Their least favourite movies
Everyone in the interview said that the first two minutes of a film is important because it must engage the audience.
Most people said that the characters and scenery/setting was what they looked for in the film.
Movie GENRES:
Favourite:
Eva: mystery
Shekinah: action
Ms Goulding: thriller
Izabela: fantasy
Lucy: romantic comedy
Sally: horror/thriller
Ms Foster: thriller
Sophia: horror
Lisa: thriller
Natalia: thriller/ action
Least favourite:
Shekinah: horror
Izabela: classical (biographies etc)
Ms Goulding: Westerns
Lucy: horror
Sally: sci-fi
Ms Foster: parodies
Sophia: romance
Lisa: romantic comedy
Natalia: sci-fi
This is useful to me because my group and I are going for the unexpected/thriller/suspense genre for our two minute film and this data showed that most people enjoy watching thriller films.

Final Film Practice Shots
We storyboarded our final film and decided to pracice filming the shots that we will used for the real film. We wanted to make sure we knew how to do it and where to place the camera before filming our final film. Here's a video we made showing the shots we will use.

Practice Video 2
Charlotte and I decided to film a second practice video in "The Green" in Enfield Town. We used a wide variety of different camera shots and angles. When we start planning our two minute film opening, we will select the techniques that we thought were most effective.
Water Practice Video
In our two minute opening film, we want a camera shot in water. So for this we decided to place the waterproof KODAK inside a glass of water and film someone walking past it to create more of an effect. We wanted to do a practice beforehand and we filmed us setting it up and trying out different techniques to get the camera shot we wanted.
